about
Violet Bader is a visual artist based in Philadelphia. She is influenced by the interdisciplinary nature of printmaking and its potential for sequence and narrative. Recently, Bader ventured into the world of book arts and is exploring the possibilities of storytelling, form, and personal symbology. She was raised in West Philly but spent ample time in the wilderness, driving her affinity for environmental education. Her work often draws from her experiences living and teaching outdoors. Her recent projects explore human relationships with land and the reciprocity of nature. In May 2025, she will graduate with a BFA in Printmaking from Tyler School of Art and Architecture.
